Now Accepting Farmer & Vendor Applications for 2010!
If you are interested in being a farmer or vendor for the West End Market, please contact Precious Wright, ECDC Program Director, at 847-756-0159, pwright@evanstoncdc.com
This summer the corner of Church and Dodge will again be the home to the 3rd Annual West End Market, every Saturday from 8:30 am to 3pm. The West End Market offers fresh produce along with crafts, and other non-food items by local vendors.
The burgeoning market is the result of efforts by community members and volunteers, and responds to a longtime wish of 5th Ward Alderwoman Delores Holmes.
The West End Market aims to sell fresh food at affordable prices at a time when food prices, along with conerns about access to safe and healthy food, are on the rise.
Volunteers and vendors are still needed to help the West End Market succeed!
