Community Seeks Support

CONCEPT:

A weekly, outdoor farmer’s-style market in Evanston’s 5th Ward

WHEN:

7am – 2pm Saturdays, June 14 thru October 25th

WHERE:

Parking lot at SE corner of Church and Dodge
(The site is owned by ETHS, which has authorized its use for a market.)

WHY:

To respond to community demand for fresh, locally-grown fruits and vegetables; to generate sustainable economic development via job creation and community partnerships

The West End Market Committee is seeking funds, in-kind donations and creative partnerships that will help this project succeed!

Specifically, we are seeking the following:

• Local restaurants and businesses interested in our ‘Adopt-A-Saturday’ sponsorship program
• Local youth organizations interested in providing volunteers
• And of course, any donation amount helps!
